“I’ve been working with Hilti since 2017, and I’m fortunate to be part of the PhD program with the university. This helped me update myself with the latest litera-ture and contribute back to the body of knowledge. My research project is also application-oriented, and hence it adds value to Hilti. So overall, I’m grateful for this opportunity.”
Anubhav Bhardwaj
“Joining Hilit’s IT competition in 2016 and working in four different countries in the last four years gives a context to extensive opportunities at Hilti. The new Ph.D. program in collaboration between Hilti and the University of Liechtenstein is one of a kind, and I am fortunate to be part of this in the inaugurating year. “

“The excellent collaboration between Hilti and the University of Liechtenstein enables me to ally academia and business practice daily. I couldn’t imagine a bet-ter way to bring academic research into my projects in Hilti Global IT. In parallel, my work projects, experiences, and network as an IT Analyst for Supply Chain management feed my PhD research with real-world practitioners’ challenges and case studies. I especially enjoy the full support from both sides and the will-ingness to develop innovative solutions and solve concrete problems. “
Julia Altheimer
“Currently, I’m not only a PhD student at the University of Liechtenstein but also part of the Data Science Team in Hilti Global IT. I’m excited about this collabora-tive environment as it enables me to grow in both academia and practice. At Hil-ti, I get the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in projects and learn from experienced international colleagues. This helps me to understand the needs, opportunities, and challenges of the future construction industry and to steer my applied research in a specific, practice-oriented direction. Furthermore, at the University of Liechtenstein, I highly appreciate the exchange of knowledge and the collaboration with research colleagues!”

"The Hilti Fellowship program gave me a unique chance to combine academic learning as a PhD student with practical training at Hilti. It was really exciting to become familiar with state-of-the-art technology and get insight into real projects. On top of that it was a pleasure to be part of Hilti’s international team. Furthermore, I am deeply grateful that I also had a chance to concentrate on my PhD thesis and collaborate (and continue collaborating) with wonderful people from the Hilti Chair of Business Process Management at the University of Liechtenstein."
Jan Huck
"The Hilti Fellowship enabled me to gain practical experiences at a global company and learn about the corporate culture. It was really exciting to get to know Hilti and to be part of an international team."
Klaus Hurme
"The Hilti Fellowship was a real kick-start for my career. I was deployed in the workplace-platform services area in a change management program. The Hilti Fellowship was a unique and attractive opportunity - content-, career-, and location-wise. I couldn't have spent my time more meaningfully."
Ella Iivanainen
"I’ve been studying Information Systems at the University of Liechtenstein for five months, while working in the Voice & Videos team in Hilti Global IT. What I found most interesting about working at Hilti is that as an intern you actually get to experience many things. I’ve been able to take a ride with a field engineer to learn about their job, and I also visited Customer Service in Germany. These experiences were very useful for the projects I’ve been doing at Hilti - which I found really cool."
Tiina Konkola
“I was a Hilti Fellow at the User Interface Design team. The Hilti Fellowship is a very nice program since you can combine your work with your studies, and at Hilti you really get responsibility and you get your own projects that you are in charge of. I found that very cool“
Adna Kocan
“The Hilti Fellowship program gave me the opportunity to work at Hilti and study full-time at the University of Liechtenstein at the same time. What I liked the most is that I had the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge gained at the university, while working on exciting projects in the Business Excellence team at Hilti. At the end of my internship I was offered to stay on for an additional five months and I am looking forward to new, exciting projects!“
Ralf Plattfaut
“The Hilti fellowship was a very good opportunity to deepen my theoretical knowledge and apply it to practice. A well-structured program, excellent mentoring, and the exchange with the co-fellows from around the globe made my stay in the Rhine-Valley one of the best moments in my Master’s studies.“
Joonatan Voltti
“The Fellowship program is a great opportunity to work in a global company and to get a good insight of working in real projects. This combined with the possibility to pursue master studies at the University of Liechtenstein is an ideal solution to put the theory learnt to practice at work. Besides all that, the scenery in the middle of the Alps is something one just can not get fed up with ;)“
